Overview

Scope of work

Using lists of companies and contacts, make calls and send emails to set appointments for our General Manager to present and explain our education and learning solutions to decision makers and buyers. Sometimes we do not have the name of an appropriate contact a particular company, so we will need you to do some research to find that information for us.

Skills/competencies required

Courteous phone manner; good English and Bahasa Melayu language skills (spoken and written), with Mandarin a definite asset; good research skills (ability to use Internet and non-Internet resources to identify appropriate contacts).

Attitudes required

Positive, cheerful, and persistent in the face of rejection; politeness, courtesy, and respect toward clients and colleagues at all times; outgoing; likes to interact with people; resourceful in finding ways to achieve results; self confidence.

Anywhere you have Internet access and a phone. Work from home if you like!

Hours of work

There are no fixed hours for this work. While we do have targets and deadlines for the completion of work, you make phone calls or send emails during the day when you have some spare time. Have an hour in the morning while enjoying a latte at Starbucks…? Make a few phone calls. Have a couple of hours in the afternoon between putting the baby to sleep and the arrival of your other kids from their day at school…? Make a few phone calls. How you spend your time to complete the work is up to you, so long as you meet the targets and deadlines.

Remuneration

We offer a generous commission tied to outcomes. Meaning, if we close a sale as a result of an appointment you have set, we will provide you with a percentage of the gross amount of the sale (excluding GST).
